Partial Reopening of the Campus for Students

Restriction on Entering YNU Campus for Students
- Reopen starts from July 2 (Thu) -
YNU will relax the restriction for students to enter the Campus from July 2 (Thu) following the lift of State Emergency on May 27th and travel restriction among prefectures on July 19th which was intended to prevent the spread of Novel Coronavirus. Students who intend to visit the Campus are required to answer to the following questionnaire in advance. However, students who have a fever or a flu-like symptoms are not allowed to enter the Campus.
Please check the following instructions for the use of campus facilities. Classes for Spring Semester continues to be conducted via online.
Risks on the spread of Novel Coronavirus has not yet disappeared. YNU continues to give top priority to ensuring the safety and security of students and faculty members and will continue education and research activities wherever possible while closely monitoring the coronavirus situation. We appreciate your continued support and cooperation.
- Prior Registration
Students are required to register from the following form prior to visiting the Campus. Please select or fill in each questions to complete the registration. This registration intends to keep the record on students’ entering the Campus, and the university does not reply with a permission or a refusal to students.
Registration on Entering YNU Campus - Facilities Available to Students
- (1) Student Affairs Offices
- - Student Center and Office of College and Graduate School will reopen under certain condition. Students may visit the office in cases such as when university permits via online guidance in advance.
- - Certificate Issue Machine will be available.
- - For visiting the Health Service Center, please give a phone call (045-339-3153) in advance.
- - Please cover you face with a mask and keep social distance while visiting the office. Restriction on entering the office can be carried out when the office become busy with visitors.
- (2) University Library
- - University Library will be open during the daytime on weekdays (8:40-17:00). (Night times and weekends will be closed)
- - Services will be partially available (renting books, returning, photocopies, etc.).
- - Internal facilities such as reading seats, PC plaza, AV booth, working studio, media booth and information lounge will be closed.
- - Chatting, use of Wi-Fi and self-studying in the library is prohibited.
- - Above rules may change anytime following the number of visitors or any other measures taken by university.
- - Please visit the University Library website before visiting the library.
- (3) Other Facilities
- - University Cafeteria, CO-OP Store, University Hall (partially) will be available during its opening hours respectively.
(Notice) Opening Hours on University Facilities * In Japanese - - For the use of laboratories (not including classrooms and office buildings), follow the instructions from your College or Graduate School, or the department which is in charge of managing the laboratory.
- - University Cafeteria, CO-OP Store, University Hall (partially) will be available during its opening hours respectively.
- (4) Other Notices
- - Take good care of your health such as taking adequate sleep and nutrition and monitor your body temperature every day.
- - Classrooms and PC rooms at each Collage facilities will be closed.
