In Ukraine, the lives and livelihoods of 7.5 million children are under imminent threat due to tensions that have persisted since February 2022. The security situation along the contact line, which divides areas under Ukrainian government control from those controlled by pro-Russian factions, remains highly unstable: on February 23, the Ukrainian government declared a state of emergency across the country starting February 24.

Please help the children in Ukraine by making a donation.
UNICEF is asking the international community for financial support of USD 276 million (approximately JPY 30 billion) for its activities in Ukraine and USD 73 million (approximately JPY 8 billion) for refugee assistance in neighboring countries. In response to this, the Japan Committee for UNICEF began accepting emergency donations for Ukraine on February 25, 2022.
