On Sunday, October 20, 2024, YNU Vietnam Alumni Reunion in Hanoi was held.
A total number of 62, including alumni and current students living in Vietnam, participated in the event. From YNU, President Izuru Umehara, Dean Hiroshi Katsuchi of Faculty of Urban Innovation, Assoc. Prof. Kumiko Kawachi of International Strategy Organization, and Mr. Keita Haruyama of International Students Section attended. From UD-YNU International Branch Da Nang, Dr. Le Anh Tuan and Ms. Truc Quyen were present.

This event was mainly organized by Assoc. Prof. Pham Hoang Kien from the University of Transport and Communications, who is in charge of the YNU Hanoi Alumni Office.
This was the first alumni reunion in Vietnam since the COVID-19 pandemic was over and attendees came from all over the Vietnam. They enjoyed talking about their current situation and memories of when they were students at YNU. Throughout the event, all participants had a wonderful time with old faces.
They once again realized how precious their relationships are and agreed that they should meet more often and have another reunion in Ho Chi Minh City soon.

Commemorative photos were taken with all participants wearing the stole with YNU logo to celebrate the reunion. Active exchanges and solid network among YNU Vietnam Alumni are expected.
