Requests on Entering the End of Academic Year 2021

January 18th, 2022

Dear YNU Students

Executive Director (General Affairs) and Vice President, TAKAGI Masaki
Executive Director (Education) and Vice President, YACHI Hiroyasu

As we enter one of the most important time of the year facing graduation, completion, and promotion, number of new cases of COVID-19 is increasing rapidly. Under this situation, “semi-state of emergency COVID-19 measures” is about to take place in Tokyo Metropolitan area.
At YNU Campus, the spread of infection has not been confirmed so far, however, number of infected people is increasing as is the case in general. Most of them are thought to have occurred from group dining.

Thus, we ask you to take any possible infection prevention actions and avoid high-risk activities which cause droplet infection such as group dining, wearing a non-woven mask properly, washing hands and gargle occasionally, practice social distancing, and managing your own health condition. If you feel unwell such as having a cold symptom, do not force yourself to come to the campus and consult with a medical institution instead to prevent the spread of virus.
In addition, when the situation of infection worsens, or due to the requests from the central government or local government, we may change the level of “Action Plan to Prevent the Spread of the Novel Coronavirus” or change the method of classes and final examination conduct.
Please pay attention to further information via YNU website or notice from your academic advisor.
