Report of the "International Exploratory Program" and the Awards of Best Presentation
Hojo Center (Research Center for Sustainability, Resilience, and Well-being) at IMS held a program titled "International Exploratory Program: Road System in Your Countries and Japan" on February to March, 2024, as a movement towards more proactive work with society with wider global perspectives. This program's main objective was for participants, foreign students at Institute of Urban Innovation, to experience the process of "exploration and comparison" between Japan and countries.
Final presentation session had the six presentations, and after having rigorous evaluation by professors in charge and a few outside specialists, the Awards of Best Presentation were decided on the following twos:
Best Presentation (Individual):
Withanage Kapila Ranjith (D2:Sri Ranka)
Best Presentation (Team):
Khin Myat Wai (D2: Myanmar), Su Myat Mon (D3: Myanmar), Wichuda Munbua (PD:Thailand), Phan Thanh Ngoc (PD:Vietnam)
In addition, we would like to express our great appreciation here for the support of the external experts, the City of Yokohama, and of Metropolitan Expressway Co., Ltd to this new program.
