Measures after the Relax of Travel Restriction among Prefectures
Dear YNU Students and Faculty Members
Following the relax of travel restriction among prefectures based on measures against novel corona virus at Kanagawa Prefecture (June 18 2020), restrictions on conducting research and educational activities at YNU will be partly relaxed as follows based on the “New Lifestyle” guideline (Expert Meeting on Novel Coronavirus Disease Control, May 4).
To avoid the risk, it is required to follow the basic manners such as “keep social distance”, “wear a mask”, “wash your hands” to avoid the spread of virus while refraining from non-essential travel, and protect your family, friends, neighbors as well as yourself.
(The below mentioned orders may change depending on the situation of infection)

- Classes necessary for completing graduation theses or studies (i.e. laboratory experiments, practical training)
Following the relax of travel restriction among prefectures on July 19, students who are in final year of their course will be permitted to engage in in-person class works by limiting to graduation theses or studies (i.e. laboratory experiments, practical training). In-person class works must be conducted in small size by avoiding close contacts under shorter hours.
Classes for Spring Semester continues to be conducted via online. Classes for Fall Semester will be announced by the end of August. - Entering the campus
Restriction on entering the campus will be relaxed from July 2 (Thu). First of all, please check the notice “Partial Reopening of the Campus for Students” for requirements and procedures necessary to take. - Extracurricular activities
Extracurricular activities including club activities will be permitted in case it is admitted necessary to restart, and access to university facilities will be allowed gradually.
Prior to this, please check the notice “Restriction on Extracurricular Activities Following the Spread of Novel Coronavirus (the fifth report) –Relaxing the Restriction-”(*In Japanese) and follow all procedures necessary to take in advance.
